The kitchen in this Victorian Terrace property was extended into the side return to create a large family kitchen-diner. The new walls were built using original London Brick stock to continue the heritage of the original exterior walls.
The existing basement under the front part of the house was excavated to create an adjoining snug and shower/utility room.
The family bathroom was enlarged slightly in order to fit both a roll-top bath and separate shower. A bespoke mirrored wall and niche above the bath makes the bathroom feel even more spacious and luxurious.
A bespoke run of wardrobes was designed and built for the master bedroom.
“This conversion has transformed our kitchen and created a whole new living space. The formerly dark and narrow kitchen has now become a spacious, light-filled room and we feel we have gained a whole new floor to our home.
The space works really well for the whole family on a day-to-day basis, and is absolutely fabulous for parties – a friend said it reminded them of a swanky hotel bar!”
